rear brake caliper question

rear brake caliper question

I have one that frozen big time so I need to replace both.... oringals ones so I watch a youtube video by bodermeire and he clamp off the line when he went to bleed them the line was clamp and he open the blender screw a little bit and he let it drip for 10 to 15 min is possible that way to bleed them? Any tips which I'm going remans with the emergency cable connector already attached.. also who has pretty good ones as far brick and mortar store or internet .. Thanks

You only need to replace the frozen one ....buy some fresh brake fluid too.....get A friend to pump the brake....bleeding time is less than three min IMO if done with A tube and A bottle of fresh fluid.....https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...16636494,d.amc

Im sure you already know this but just in case, the rear calipers need a specialty tool to turn the caliper in, which is unlike the fronts where all you need is a block of wood and a c-clamp to Push in the caliper.

Yes I rented one from autozone and still could not turn it in..but I figure if one frozen the other is not to far behind..any luck with brands as far a caliper .. Thanks

I replaced my fronts with a brand off of rockauto around February of last year and so far they've held up great. I'll look in my purchase history to see if I can find what brand I got.

after getting my 2nd 4th gen I just replaced both rotors and calipers because I knew sooner or later it would have to be done..... I think I spent right at $125 for everything.

I just order a rebuilt caliper from king calipers for the frozen side and I got check the other one if it's bad...New rotors and pads..this is my runner on a budget
