mystery connector ID needed
mystery connector ID needed
Age has clearly diminished my skills. So when finishing a project to replace the my 1998 five-speed Maxima's clutch cylinder fluid network with a one-piece stainless hose, I ended up with one electrical connector for which I could not identify a mate.
Photo provided.
If anyone can tell me what that little beast is supposed to connect to, and where I can find it, I will be very thankful.

Where are you in the e-compartment?
Some distinguishing features are the green internal and the yellow wrap but I can't quite tell without knowing the general geographic area within which the connector resides.
Do I think I see the intake snorkel in the background?

Thanks for responding. Sorry for the delay in getting back.
Attached photo shows the location of the connector in the engine bay. It shows where the connector now is, not necessarily where it should be. I can't find an unpaired wire with a connector to match it.
Hope you can help.

Running your hand towards the motor along that surface do you feel the Air Charge Temp Sensor?
Is there anything plugged in?
Found the connector. It was attached to a hard point well below the snorkel; it was dark in color and pointed directly upward and in a place where it was so hard to identify even in daylight with a flashlight that I twice had to spend five minutes looking for it even after I had initially found it. Had to take off the air box system to connect the two pieces.
Still don't know what the connected system was designed to do.
Thanks for the help.
