Y-pipe & cat-back installs in Maryland...

My Cattman Y-pipe and Apex-i WS cat-back have been sitting on my floor for about 2 months now. My friend is a Nissan mechanic and I have been waiting for his help. I am anxious to get this exhaust done, so I am thinking of taking it to a shop. Has anyone had exhaust work done in Maryland that can recommend a shop. I am in Timonium. Thanks!

You are kinda out there aren't you. Well, give New Again in Silver Spring a call. There is a also a muffler shop down the street from them that will be cheaper, but but you get whet you pay for. Any competent, muffler shop should be able to do the job, it's about who you trust. One tip for you is to replace all 4 of the exhaust hanger bushings with the stiffest ones you can find. Else the exhausy may sway a bit and bang up against something.

you can take it to westminster speed and sound, or in Glen Burnie there is HP racing. What year is your car? If it's not too rutsy on the underside we can do it in your driveway. I'm in Whitemarsh area.

Dood, they are really easy, it just doesnt seem like it before you start. I suggest you get a buddy and do it yourself.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I finally got a hold of my buddy and we are going to do the install a week from tomorrow. I also just got my SMC short shifter, so that's going on too.

Thanks again

SMC has gone out of buisness. I was lucky enough to find an .org member who was selling one brand new in box. I recommend posting a WTB (wanted to buy) thread in the for sale forum. Good luck!
