(Solved) [Speaker wiring help] Bose system to aftermarket - IMAGES

Hey guys,

I have a 97 Nissan maxima. I have an aftermarket Kenwood HU that I have been using for about a year. Just got around to purchasing new door speakers. I want to power them off HU for now. Front will have components and rear will have 2 way speakers.

Here are the speakers:
Amazon Amazon

There are two diagrams I have found and they are conflicting. I will post both. If someone could tell me how to figure it out or tell me what wire is positive and what one is negative so I can splice into them, I would greatly appreciate it.

The 2 diagrams concur for front left and right. However they are different for left rear. Diagram #2 does not even show wiring for right rear.. HELP!

Diagram #1 says for Rear left: Positive- Red / Negative- Green.
Diagram #2 says for Rear left: Positive - Green / Negative-Red(2)

Which is correct???
THANK YOU!

On the website you posted it says, for front left, Positive - Blue/White & Negative- Blue/Yellow.
However, I dont have a Blue/White or Blue/Yellow. Is that website for Non-BOSE systems?

Here is my front left (going into the amp):

Thank You

I spliced into the Brown and the Yellow wire. Hooked to speaker and had to max HU out just to get slight volume. What am I doing wrong? Please help! I have my car all torn apart right now.

Does the Kenwood HU have setting you can adjust? Not sure if using the right terminology here but if you were using the HU with the Bose amps there could be a setting that you need to change to tell the HU you are not using a preamp output.

Is the HU connected to RCA outs?

like with one of these...

Yes, I had the Scosche behind my head unit. After removing it and rewriring the HU, I had full loud beautiful music! It took 8 hours but the sound of these new speakers was worth the struggle!

Also, for the preamp colors to splice into, I used this link: https://maxima.org/forums/audio-elec...se-system.html

Here is the trouble maker:

Thanks for the help guys!
