I see that that bar is laying on the stud cause the horn to blow .. probably one does plastic nub crack cause to lay on stud for the horn to blow .. well I got to disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes for the air bag to be safe ? Get the o ring on the post .. just question with the fuse pulled it won't drain the battery right ?

Disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes so the air bag will loose its residual charge.

Pulling the fuse to stop the horn from blowing will prevent the horn from draining the battery.

Wait the 10 minutes, then pull steering wheel air bag off. Disconnect air bag connection. Install O-rings or install new parts from jy car.

I haven't fixed mine yet. I just finally fixed my AC by replacing the actuator that's wedged just above the ECU. My inspiration was this 1000 degree weather we are having. Only now am I getting back into fixing the horn. I do appreciate your post and pictures though.
