Want to do A/T Conversion
I have a 1999 SE-L 5-speed. I'm more into cruzin' so I'm want to do a conversion to an automatic transmission. Can anyone give me any tips? I love my Max. I will do anything and pay just about any amount to get this job done. Soon I will be hands free. I can't wait until this is done!!! Thank you for your help.

I'm serious! I dislike my 5-speed! I hate it in traffic. I live in the city and you know how that can be. All I'm asking for is alittle help here please..please take this matter seriously.

You can't be serious. Do you read all the posts about how many people HATE the auto tranny? And you want to get one? If you really do, then just sell the car and get an auto. Don't ruin a perfectly good 5 speed car. Give it to someone who appreciates it and get yourself a grandma tranny.

a moderator makes sure the forum doesn't go crazy......and u would have to change ur ecu,tranny get a tourqe conveter,get rid of the cluch,it u do it might as well get the VB mod from don and if u got the $$ get a hi-po tourqe conveter

I used to have a Civic little wagon, 5 speed. After 6 months I traded it in for a new car. Tell you the truth I never really learned how to drive stick well. Never want a stick again.
Well if you could find a person with an auto, who wants to convert it to 5 speed, then you could exchange the car and one of you pay the value difference. It's the best way, lowest cost maybe.
