Hey guys, new member here. I've been doing research for a couple months and still can't find my answer. I have a 99 maxima, the motor is shot. I'm using it for asphault circle track racing and want to do the vq30dek swap and I have a 2000 maxima donor car luckily lol. I know you can use the stock 99 ecu and harness with some modifications but my question is, can I swap the 2000 ecu and harness over with the dek motor and it work in the 99. I understand I'll still have to redo some vac lines and I'm deleting a few things along with the egr stuff while it's out. No I can't do the 3.5 swap so just leave that out lol. And I will be taking it to get a tune when it's all done. Please help!!
