Anybody got the part # for magnetic drain plug?
I've wanted to swap my factory oil drain plug w/ a magnetic version. Only problem is that I don't know what size threads, etc... and when I have the drain plug in my hand I have no way to the store. DOH!!! So anyone know the thread size or part #? Thanks for any help.

Maybe I should've stated that I did do a search beforehand. I want a MAGNETIC drain plug, not a direct Nissan replacement. (all I see in the maintenance sticky is direct replacement part #s from Nissan. So maybe I do deserve to get flamed if the factory replacement plug is magnetic - but I'm pretty sure it isn't.
When I go to the auto parts store I see the magnetic drain plugs but there is no catalog to reference your car. They do have a plastic template that will allow you to put your existing plug into a hole to determine the size but again, I usually won't have a way to the store w/ my drain plug in my hand.

A search may reveal the oil plug bolt size, but I do not know what it is offhand....

I don't think there is a magnetic OIL Plug for out cars.

Just wanted to thank all of you for responding. I do change my oil regularly but would like the piece of mind that I think this magnetic oil drain plug would offer. If I can't find the right one maybe I'll hang a subwoofer off of my oil pan. hehe. Just kidding but thanks again.
