Rust-tang Tried to race :)

Last night sitting at a light behind a mustang 6cyl, cause there was already a car next to him, He takes off from the light and so do I, I get next to him ready to race but the next light was was already red, I throw it into 2nd and race my engine at like 4k up to light waiting for it to change, he did the same,(5spd)the next light turns and its on, we both floor it at the same time, I even shifted into 3rd too early (5k) and he was still reading M A X I M A I couldnt even hear the thing cause of my cold air, Another kill for the book

'99+ Mustang V6 5spds can be quick. 0-60 somewhere around 7 flat.

My friend has a 2000 V6 5spd with headers, cai, full straight piping from the engine (removed everything), Superchip, downpipe, underdrive pulley, ect. and he took me for a ride, and damn it is a torquey bastard.

Could put up a good fight for some modded manual maxima's here.

I seriously wouldn't waste my time with a v-6 mustang. They are such a hug wash of a car. They are worse then a Civic dx. Tight car craig mack.

yeah the 6cyl mustangs are slow. I raced a 5 speed the other night that had intake/exhaust. I have Intake/Y-pipe/cat-back and I beat him by a good 3 cars to around 95. Not much of a challenge. Take Care
