Cracked Exhaust Pipe Question

My cars rear exhaust has been extremely loud. Jacked it up and took a look. It looks like the pipe has cracked completely through right after the joint where the muffler pipe and resonator pipe meet. I uploaded a picture of where the break in the pipe is. My question is, will I need to replace the entire resonator and pipe which connects to the Muffler pipe, or is there some other way I can join a new muffler and pipe with the resonator pipe which is now without a joint/gasket. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have people had any luck cutting the flange off entirely and sleeve and clamping them together? Or just using a flange adaptor?

Years ago I did just that. I cut off both flanges and used a short pipe and 2 clamps.

I have recently stumbled on these sites that provide high-quality services like Exhaust System, Heat Protection, Intake System, and Accessories. The guides are super easy to follow and I actually enjoyed their services.
You can also check the website yourself: (useless URL removed)

WTF?

Doesn't even come close to a helpful post, but rather someone getting paid to post links fishing for business! Long stretch to 22 to 26 year oldcar parts as well!

What am I missing here?
