Radiator choice
Hey guys, I'm looking at replacing the radiator on my 98 touring but have been told there's a few different radiators that suit different 98 models. Could you help me work out which one I need.
cheers.

Mishimoto sells an all aluminum radiator with no plastic. Expensive, but can be found cheaper on Amazon. Unfortunately, with a Mishimoto, you'd also have to buy a separate transmission cooler as it's not incorporated.

I can't justify spending the money it takes to buy the radiator you ate talking about unless the car has been highly modded, and makes regular trips in and out of Death Valley in July.

The radiators Nissan installed have lasted 15 to 20 years. I can install a good quality radiator for about 100 bucks. I doubt that many of our cars will last an additional 15 to 20 years.

Like Dr Smith said on Lost in Space.... Oh the PAIN.......
I'm with you, only certain parts have to be OEM and or the best quality, where the benefits/longevity supersede all other offers significantly.
I'd look into what you used, especially since it's worked for you.

I've had good luck with Autozone rads. Currently have a Megan aluminum one on mine.
Got several 4th gens in the family so when one fails the replacement is free! Thanks Autozone.
