If I'm doing an ecu reset without the check engine light on, am I supposed to get some kind of feedback from lights on the dash or a beep sound or anything else? Because I tried doing an ecu reset earlier and I'm not sure if it actually "took", because there was no feedback.

"no" you shouldn't get any feedback if the ECU reset goes well.

btw, I did look in the stickies and run a search, just wasn't able to find anything. Maybe it would be a bit anticlimatic for the faqs to say "now if everything went good, absolutely nothing should happen!"
