so, finally, after 8 hours and 4 new gaskets, fixing a broken metal tube on the back of the upper intake with steel stick, a new iacv, ( the other was put on, broken out of box, new ) and an 02 sensor i have, TAAA DAAAA, NO CODES!!!!! I REPEAT, NO CODES!!!!!!!!! i started with 1. p0300, 2. p0130, 3.p0505, 4. p0325. we ( my mechanic-friend of mine ) we started by ripping apart the whole upper half of the motor, uim, lower intake, all the pita parts and wires, hoses, and bought a valve cover gasket kit, ( fel-pro of course ) the steel stick to fix the broken metal tube, intake gasket kit, fel-pro, a new iacv, and a new ntk 02 for the new bank one sensor one code that popped up. he grinded all of the surfaces down before putting the gaskets on, only did the back, valve cover cause we were getting tired, front one next week, replaced the 2 metal lower intake gaskets, and the upper uim as well, . cleaned the motor off and scanned for codes,. fist time was after we replaced the gaskets, still came up with the p0505 and the p0130, so i decided to just get the other 2 parts and get er done.did the 02 sensor and the iacv and started her and wallah!!!! no codes!!! was so happy i almost cried, i have been trying to get maxy running right forever and it only took me like 5 years. btw, he did all this work, parts and all for 470.00,

Glad that you finally fixed your problem.

I had egr issues as well. I cleaned that tube out, still had problens for a long time. Issue was finally resolved when I found a kinked air hose on one of the solution valves.

You could have bought the egr tube new for not all that much. Or from a junkyard for a little bit of money and a fair amount of work.

it was behind the upper uim in the back, had a wire and a sensor hooked up to it. and, now you tell me.still seeing some residual white smoke coming out of the exhaust, possible that the cat was damaged? even though i still have no codes i feel like she still holding back a little when i hit the gas. and i still get a little " pop" from time to time.
