spectra coils, any good?
looking at a set because although i don't believe all 6 are bad, i want to replace them all together. car's still running like crap at idle and i'm still getting p0300.
ALSO, what is the proper gap for my 95, when checked the plugs were fouled up from many issues, running lean was the main one i believe.

You mentioned that your plugs looked fouled.
We're they oily, dI'd they small like gas, what was the color of the plug,'s. Or were some different in color than others. Also did you keep track of what eache plug looked like.
As you know, it's possible to "read" spark plugs so that one can see what is going on with each individual cylinder. Or if all plugs look the same, what's going on with the whole engine.

Hitachi I promise you. It sucks that your still getting the P0300.. Maybe something internal damage is happening inside the engine just from flat worn out 23 year old engine from normal use... You mentioned you have over 280k miles. So maybe a rebuild/replace engine with lower mileage may be the case.. I could be wrong.

reason i want to try these is that they come with a 3 year warranty and all 6 are only163.55. and yes jvg, all 6 plugs were evenly fouled and shot to hell. i was running lean for awhile and had many issues and when pulled, they were really beat up.

Remember, you get what you pay for... I know it may sound cheesy but pay a little more for better quality. It'll be cheaper in the long run. I've always found that whenever I go cheap, I end up paying more than I should have.

pre gapped my ***. i've seen vehicle with "pre gapped" plugs go in and out of shops 3+ plus times before someone had the where with all to actually check the gap and ohh hat's that? the gap is wrong you say? why no wonder it wasn't running right.

i have rebuilt most of the max's engine with a friend. i am not a mechanic, but probably know as much as the rest of them, seriously. have learned as i went along, this engine took a serious $hit on me and every damn thing went south at once.i let an intake leak go for awhile and it fried a bunch of parts.
