SE Automatic?

The SE comes in autotragic, correct?

I need a little automagic in my life. I had a 5 speed and it SUCKS sitting in Boston trafic (I-93) with a F****N stick.

Yep, the SE comes in Automatic. I have an Automatic, but I'm getting a 5-speed in the Spring/Summer because I can't stand the Auto anymore.

Later,

Re: SE Automatic?

basically if you have a stick, then youre sick of it and want an automatic. if you have an automatic then you want a stick. i hear what you're saying though, been up to boston plenty of times and the traffic is an SOB. i have a 97 se automatic and it's held me back in a few races, but stick has it's drawbacks too. oh well, a stick to automatic switch costs between 1-2k i think, correct me if i'm wrong anyone. if you've got the money, then i think the option is available. best of luck.

Re: SE Automatic?

Mine is auto too.

Once a while I want a stick, but then I never regret buying an auto, esepcially when I was stuck in Bay Area traffic.

Mine is stick.

...and thank GOD for that!

Stick, even in heavy traffic, has never really bothered me.

Yup, I'm guilt as well. 96 SE autocrapic.

Biggest mistake was to not get the 5spd. I had no clue how to drive a 5spd, that's why I went with the autocrapic at the time. Even now I would say I can't really drive a 5spd, but I am willing to learn if given the chance to have a 5spd Maxima!

Wow, when did you get the 5spd Maxima? I must have missed the thread.

Btw, since you're a Maxima owner now, your handle doesn't fit anymore.

i dont see why you guys keep crying about having automatics.

alot of fast dragracing cars are automatics.

i love my auto.

if you hate your auto cause its slow, get a torque converter and a VB upgrade. Im planning on it. Not because I dont like my auto, but because I want my auto to live through my racing days.

a TC and VB will cost just as much if not less than a 5-spd conversion, AND it will OUTPERFORM a 5-speed! not to mention last longer.

WTF, I didnt know I was an illegal-immigrant. Still, I would rather have a 5-speed just because they are more fun than automatics. Keep arguing about your auto with me though but it wont do any good since I have an auto. So your preachin to the wrong person.
