Help on choosing a Y - Pipe?

So i dont have 300 dollars to blow on the warpspeed y, anybody know if this y pipe would give my 4th gen the same gains? ITS a 2.5 diameter pipe aswell only difference is that there is 1 cat toward the rear which i can easily cut off if i had to. This only costs 171 on Ebay 🤝 is it worth it or should i save up?

No, it's nothing special. The merge is a T joint, not really a collector. It's won't flow well just for that reason.

As the pictures are not of the actual product who knows what you are really buying.

I think I'll just save up for a warpspeed or the new OBX downpipe then.

Looked up the OBX downpipe, I admit I was interested. It looks like the eBay ones don’t have the up-bend to match up to the front exhaust manifold. I think that matches up to the 99-01 and not the pre-99 max. See screenshot from warpspeed site.

Magnaflow makes a mandrel-bent Y-pipe that should have what you're looking for

part #444503 if you need one that is California-legal
part #27503 if you don't

I noticed that aswell it doesn't have the upbend part .. i was wondering why they would make a stupid design like that . The whole point is to remove the pre - cat
