MANZO Y pipe question?

so I have this manzo y pipe and it looks pretty good despite the fact that the flanges are meant to fit on manzo headers NOT OEM. I plan on just modifying the flanges but my question is will welding 2.25 flanges on work? I ordered two 3 bolt 2.25 flanges and gaskets hoping this will fix the fitment issue I also plan on just re using stock bolts any help is appreciated.

Bent flange to the right

I would see how far off the holes are from the stock exhaust system....
1.Either see if the flanges are identical to the OEM
2. If the flanges are identical, see how far off the holes are and if they're off less than .125" elongate them to fit.
3. If the flanges are identical! Cut 1" below the flanges and position the flanges in the proper location as per the exhaust manifolds mark and tack weld, test fit, if perfect, weld and done!

So if it flanges up the the OEM manifolds is the fitment off at the collector end at the rear catalytic converter? So I'm lost if it flanges up to the OEM and the bend is slightly off? Does it flange up square? Are the flanges bolt holes in the right clock angle? Can he apply heat and slight bend the piping to fit?

May be able to heat and bend.. depends how off they are. Some have had luck while some haven’t.

The problem with this pipe it would be that it's meant to fit it's own headers with the y-pipe. The y-pipe itself is bent slanted to an acute angle at the flanges and the hole are ideal to the oem headers fitment but needs some adjustment to make it work due to the slanted and angled pipe flanges from the front flanges to the back flanges. The pipe from the catalytic end its fitment.

This reply was a bit confusing to me! Either the exhaust manifolds flanges are flush with MANZO Y-pipe and the bolt holes line up or they don't! That's why I gave all the fab options necessary to fit them...But no response from originator of this thread so either he's busy working on it, not worried, or Rona got him....

Funny thing is I just acquired a crap load of performance parts and 4th Gen XS Power headers are one of them! I'll try to fab a heat shield to them using a modified OEM 4th gen exhaust manifold heat shield. I'll utilize 2 HD turbo induction clamps, and their threaded studs, a couple of spacers and high temp nuts. I don't want those SS primaries make to much more heat under the hood, since they're not coated.

The flanges physically fit the stock headers but because of the way the up pipes are bent they won't line up when on the car.

Heating and bending may work. Cutting and rewelding with a possible extension will definitely work.
