what is the difference in the white on the 4th generation maximas. to me the white on the 97-99 looks nicer, it appears to have a pearl type of paint or something.

 

White on the 97/98 is different from the White on the 99

the 97/98 white is paint code QN0
the 99 white is paint code QT1

The 97 is a bright beautiful white.. and the 99 is a creamish white.. thats why i bought a 97 because at a Danbury meet at delio's house i saw 1997 Maxima SE(97 SE) and StillnMax(99 SE) cars together and i fell in love with the 97 white..

Yep!

1996 Nissan Maxima (which I bought new and has lasted wonderfully)
also had the "Arctic White Pearl" QNO Paint.

I say "Arctic White Pearl" because I have the original brochures for the Maxima of that year, and paintscratch.com indicates it as "White Pearl Tricolor" and I believe that is wrong.

I was given two bottles of paint when I bought it. One with White and one with the Pearl White to go on top of that for touchup.

It is definitely a beautiful white. I agree with ya wholeheartedly!

'95s have Arctic White Pearl, too. The paint code is actually QN0 (que enn zero).
