Hey can someone tell me how to get someone else to race me?? I have tried to race a legend and a honda and these guys had exhaust or atleast one of them had exhaust and lights etc. Why won't they race me??

P.S. What color should I paint my break calipers??

its because the maxima is Gods chariot and them fools know better...

 

hm... maybe drive side by side with them and look at the driver and notion that you want to race... you can just just high beam the fool... or stick your middle finger out and see where that takes you... besides, racing is bad.


but i race anyway.

 

trying putting the car in neutral and rev engine...

try tailgating them while flashing highbeams and hazards...

 

ok i will actually answer this thread..

one method my cousin does is.. he pulls up next to the car.. looks over and just lurches the car forward.. then if the person wants to race they will take off or start something..

my other cousin likes to pull up next to people and give them the thumbs down.. <-- i don't recommend this method..

I finally got my first race! I raced a v-tec and I smoked his boots badly. Off the start I smoked him, he was like 2 cars behind me. The adrenline was pumping, I never felt it pimp like that. ANd I had my girl in the car with me, she closed her eyes cause she was scared.

 

yeah those v-tecks are tough. Was there a car that went along with the engine?

My wife doesn't hardly notice anymore when I race. She just automaticaly puts her head back and braces herself when I'm taking off and then continues talking like nothing happened. I usually race to about 55 or so anyway...

 

i had a 1995 type2 legend coupe and i know for a fact a maxima will not beat that with all the same mods....its a v6 with 230 HP stock

go to autozone and buy as many stickers and badges as you can find! also dont forget to buy a big wing, and a 10' muffler will put you over the top! the cool thing about stickers is they give you 5hp each and if you buy the coveted gtr badge you've got a poor mans super charger on your hands! seriously though lower your car and get an exhust and intake and I you will be amazed how many people will buck up to you, good hunting and stay out of jail.

Get A-Pillar gauges. Ever since I got those, everyone wants to race me. Course I got those to go along with the SC, so I don't mind the races. Of course, nothing even remotely fast has tried to race me.

Ford Focus-9 or 10 carlengths
Mid 80's Supra-6 or 7 car lengths (then does a flyby after I hit the brakes)
Civic hatchback-didn't know he was racing so he put like 4 carlengths on me by the time I punch it, then by the time it was over, he was about 4 back.

I'm going to stop racing these guys, it's just a waste of gas. Wish I could race something where it was a close race. Hopefully soon.

Tough has nothing to do with age. Making fun of someone for owning an '88 Max and comparing that to the 3 cars you had that were/are "better" than his because they are more expensive usually has to do with age and your profile just confirmed my suspicion. And by the way, limo tint is not 0%, the percentage of tint has to do with the amount of light that the time lets in. Limo tint is usually branded as 5% - I have never personally seen anything lower than that. 0% would mean you painted your windows with black paint.

 

I think they know each other and are just joking around. Whatever that '88 guy said seemed like a joke, then Black96Max's response had a smiley in it. That and they're both from NJ.

Cashj what are you talking about? Your car looks stock with a couple of lights. Believe me, no one will race you until you show them you have something that's out of their league. For me it was my HID's. I think once I add my exhaust then I'll get even more, but until then, I enjoy my quiet victories.
