New engine mounts

Im trying to get rid of the vibration my 98 auto gxe with 75000 have. It still vibrates with the ac on too and already did tune up no check engine light rides smoothly but stop in drive it vibrates. Im hearing different stories that aftermarket mounts are better and other ppl say oem mounts are better so need advice i price checked the oem mounts and they are over 800 bucks.

What rpm does the engine idle at when the a/c is on and you are stopped?

Did the original mount by the radiator have some wires going to it?

He was thinking that your normal idle speed might have been low, or that idle speed with a c on was too low. That could cause missing. Guess not.

yes, I'd say engine mounts.

I've read that some aftermarket mounts don't last all that long.

you might want to do an experiment to find which of your current mounts has a problem.

do you hav we mounts which are soft from being soaked in oil. Like the ones on the passenger side.

have someone set the parking brake, then put the car in gear. Have him/her rev the engine a bit.
You might see the engine twist or move. That will show which mount has failed.

it's worth buying one oem mount which will last.
