Testing Swapped Ignition Coil
I'm getting a P0304 Code. Which I believe could be a bad cyl #4 ignition coil. As I've read here I will swap it out for the one next to it, say cyl #2.
Now my question is how do I know if the problem moved to cyl #2 ? I'll clear the codes, swap and then do another reading. But I'm not sure if I'll get a reading right away, or will I have to wait till all the checks are 'ready' for the OBD2 Scanner to give me another reading ?
So, if I clear the code, swap and do a reading will I get another code (P0302) right then and there ?
Thanks...

The easy way to solve Coil pack issues is using an Ole' School timing light placing the inductive pickup clamp around the coil pack pigtail...No need to wait for the ECU to load the problem it's live and visible!
