got a 98 Maxi, and my heater and ac doesn't work ,my control is digital but if I go all the way to cold still only heat is coming out
does any friend here had this same prob or really anyone who can guide me in this fix ?

check and see if your compressor is coming on. could be a fuse, or faulty compressor. maybe thermostat issue as well. Theres a ton of info around here if you search around on how to diagnose it.

 

Most likely a Heater/AC Blend door actuator.

The FSM has a procedure to use the climate control panel to diagnose what has gone bad. Download the FSM from here and research the proceedure and you'll get your exact answer. Then order an OEM Nissan part to replace it. Then you'll be good for another 20+ years.

I downloaded the 1998 FSM , in the HA section shows all parts , but yes according to my issue the problem is on the door that mix from the cooling unit and the heater unit, I notice there's a tiny arm when I moved it manually works but cant regulate enough . is cold or hot hot.
I'm kind of scared because it seems to me that the whole dash needs to be removed but I hope to be wrong

 

Coma at it from the bottom by removing the ECU and anything else blocking access. The actuator motor is shot.
