Can a blown alternator cause fuel to get into the oil?
Few weeks ago I started my car, and shortly after smoke came from under the hood. Later I had discovered it was my alternator that blew. Immediately I opened the hood and checked the oil dip stick because I thought it was an engine issue at first. It was lighter in color and looked like it was mixed with something (now I assume gas had just entered the oil pan and mixed with my oil?). After changing the alternator I noticed my oil smelt very strongly of gas. I had changed my oil recently before and there were no issues.
I am changing my oil today so I can run it and see if any codes arise. I have seen to look at injectors for this issue. Can the alternator have caused this issue? If not I find it strange how these issues happened at the exact same time.
like I said oil change first and then I'll be checking if the issue comes back, and if any codes come up and I'll take it from there.

The alternator CANNOT cause the injectors to leak fuel into the oil.
However, you do have a leaking fuel injector.
look at the other post today about the same issue.
also my advice regarding how to find the leaking injector
