Note: The ignition harness wires change color at a plug. The above listed colors show both sides of the plug.
*1 Requires a double pulse.
*2 The BCM (body control module) is located just below the radio.
*3 Must use a relay to interface with this circuit.
*4 A single negative pulse to the unlock wire will disarm without unlocking.
*5 The ECM is located in the front of the center console on the transmission hump. The wiring is easily reached by removing the small black panel just to the front of the center console on the passenger side. the wire is in the middle row, 7th one in from the left.

I'm not looking at a manual but... if there are two wires... one is the source and the other a 'trigger' when the door is opened... i would use a different wire for an alarm trigger...

I'm not looking at a manual but... if there are two wires... one is the source and the other a 'trigger' when the door is opened... i would use a different wire for an alarm trigger...

passenger side doors have a clip that has like 8 wires on the bottom and a 2 to 3 wires on top. The bottom wires are the brown/ brwm/wht/ blue and all such but the top two have a different function, maybe power maybe something else, i have a pink wire going into my door switch that is not listed in the manual. weird huh, can anyone see if the I30 has this in it's door, i may have different wiring from a previous owner.
