whinning sound with my jensen car radio
Any idea thow o stop this whining sound coming from my car radio when i press the gas? Is it some grounding issue that needs to be done with my jensen radio? Thanks in advance

You can find them online or go to local car stereo install place to get an inline electrical noise filter.

Don't get your hopes up too high on those noise filters. If they work at all, they will often reduce sound quality in tandem with the bad noise reduction.
Your best bet is to actually try to fix the problem. There's nothing wrong with your alternator. Double check the quality of any grounds related to your stereo. Do you have an aftermarket amp powering the speakers, or is all power coming from the head unit?

The whining noise your hearing esp when you hit the gas peddle is the alternator, the fix for that is to install a noise filter in the hot 12v power wire to the stereo itself and also to an accessory like a power amp too.

yes I have original the boss rear speakers that have the amps on them. I asked the car audio mechanic who looked at the ground but couldn’t fix it. He said when he took out the jenson radio mounting screw it worked but when he put it back it was whining again .. Don’t know what to do at this point ? Should I replace the rear speakers since they are shot anyway and have the radio just power new ones ? However the whining noise can be heard through both rear and front speakers so not sure that will fix the problem

I had problems with noise using an aftermarket head unit and a specific converter with the stock Bose amps and speakers.
I rewired the HU without the converter and the noise went away. You could try wiring the pre outs on the HU to the stock amps like I did.
Or like you said, if they are junk just repace the Bose with something else.
