Battery positive termina replace

My question is the red plastic part the terminal connetor can I use any terminal or a red terminal connector ? Next the two wires on the back of the plastic part how do I connect them to the replace terminal and also the one by it self?

The correct part is 2411044U00. Stupid expensive new, $200ish.

Under the red part are fusible links that are built into the terminal. It won't be a big deal if you replace the terminal with generic aftermarket parts. You'll have to cut off something one way or another to make it work. Some need bare wires, other use crimped on lugs. The big wire goes to the starter. The 2 smaller wires go to the fuse box.

I hacked up mine a few different ways.

Newer Nissan terminal with original bits modified.

Generic terminal with old stuff stripped back and lugs added.

Anything that connects to battery positive I just strip the insulation back on the wiring to expose the wire itself and compress it into the new battery positive terminal, every vehicle i've owned where the positive terminal corrodes and wears out i've just done that with a $2 Walmart terminal lol

When I replaced my original factory positive cable with a new OEM unit late last year, it helped quite a bit with a slow starter cranking issue that I have had for long while.
