I have a 99 SE-L and recently had to get the radiator fans replaced, as one wasn't spinning and it was causing the air conditioning to blow hot air. After I got it back from the dealership, the A/C works amazing but now the car only blows cold air, even when I have the thermostat set to 85 F or I turn the front defrost on. The engine does not appear to be overheating when I drive, and the coolant is definitely filled up.
What could be causing this problem? About a day before the radiator fan repair, the car stopped blowing hot air and just wasn't blowing any air at all, so I don't know if the repair is to blame. Any help is appreciated!!
Have you downloaded the Field Service Manual yet posted here in many places?
There's a sequence of button pushes using your HVAC control panel that will diagnose what isn't working properly. This way there will be no guesswork and you can replace what is broken the first time.
Possible your blend door/ air mix door actuator went. Stick your head under the dash from the passenger side and look toward the center behind the computer. Pop the black plastic cover off first. There is a small black box with a white arm atop that rotates and opens the blend door to let more/ less hot or cold air in. If you change the temp with your left hand while your looking at it and it doesn’t move that’s your problem. I did one recently however mine was stuck on hot no matter what the setting.
Since you’ve already been to the dealership to have a cooling fan replaced that resulted in another issue, why not return to the dealership, explain the issue that that repair apparently has caused and raise a little hell?

Read: "About a day before......" part! That leaves a big blurry line. Better off just running the self diagnosis, that will most likely confirm a blend door actuator failure.
