95 Maxima, P0443
95 Maxima, P0443
Pulled a 0807, P0443. Ive read everywhere on here and am getting different vibes about which solenoid it is. There are 2 on the right of the front valve cover and 1 above cylinder 5. Which one is this actually talking about? I pulled codes and cleared and started it and now is idling a tick above 500 and almost dies after getting off the throttle. Was driving just fine on the way home from work. Thanks!
Maybe wait for someone else to chime in but I was able to find this

No your problem is the purge control valve circuit. There are two right along side each other mounted to a metal bracket. stand in front of the car with hood open look down to the right side of the valve cover. you will notice they are kind of hidden right beside the valve cover. one is called a sekenoid circuit and the other is called a purge valve. the one bolted to the left is the circuit it is your problem. the one on the left is upside down with two vacuam hoses at the bottom and one vacuam hose on the top and a connector. unplug it and take it off. connect a hot wire to the one prong and a ground wire to the other prong and run the one to positive battery post and the other to the neg post on your battery. if the solenoid clicks each time you touch the post it is good if no click it is bad. you can check the other one the same way. mine was bad and would not click. I checked the new one before I put it on and bam it clicked. reset your check engine light when your done and it will stay out. this is the p0443 code problem let me know. I grant you if you do this it will solve your problem.
