Fuel Sending unit pain

Alright y'all I need helpp I have a 1995 Nissan maxima California car and my sending unit is cracked I've tried the whole jb weld fix that been posted in prior years but it only worked for so long, my real issue is that the California spec sending unit is discontinued but the fed spec isn't

Can I run a fed spec sending unit in a Cali spec car?? I mean it's just 2, plugs and a level sensor right?

Or am I going to a junk yard and hopefully get a cali one that isn't cracked??

I'm sorry for the long windedness of this
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You should be fine. I'd go for it. I can't see any possible reason why Nissan would need to make 2 different fuel sending units.

And if for some reason the plugs are different, you could easily de-pin them and swap plugs.

I do not see a separate part number in the courtesyparts catalog (for a 97) ... 25060-4L700
It does say OOS but does not say discontinued.

National Parts Deal (NPD) also does not indicate anything is discontinued.

Hey everyone sorry for the late response it's been a week, maybe I was over researching it or something but I ended up buying a used unit for a good price and I'm going to try that it seems to look identical now I just have to have the time to install and hope it doesn't have any leaks from what seems to be a typical spot for these car (in the sunk in part were the plugs sit)( based of older threads and such)
I'll let you guys know if it works,

Side not I will say I'm getting fast at getting to the sending unit now hahahaha
