my 4th gen maxima (1996 5 speed) is having weird issues starting. I have my foot on the clutch, turn the key, and nothing happens. If I keep turning the key to turn it on it will eventually start and it starts easy and strong whenever it actually does start. I have replaced the whole starter, the starter relay, and the clutch safety switch, and it still has the same problem. Any one have other ideas on what it could be? Any help is appreciated, thanks

There is the key slop problem that is common. Another common issue is grounds.
