Intake Manifold Question...
Intake Manifold Question...
How many other vehicle application intake manifolds are compatible with that of my 1995 MAXIMA SE. I want to find a bigger one that will directly bolt on to mine without any mods or adjustments, Before i bolt it on i plan on porting it out and chroming it also. Any ideas on which vehicles have a slightly bigger one than the max that would fit my car? MAYBE A Q45 OR 300ZX? I want to find another one so that I dont lose my car for about a week while i send the part out to get dipped. Any help would be apreciated.
Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, you're looking to buy another intake so you won't be without your car for a week?
Ummmmm. . . Have you considered renting a car for that week instead?
Less hassle & definitely less $.
Otherwise, I agree: the Middle East variable-intake would be your only logical consideration. It's a direct bolt-in, but does require some handiwork w/ vacuum lines, etc. It's about $700+ (plus shipping) if you can get one. Inquire w/ member "road beast" -He's in Bahrain. Search the topic - many posts on it already.

Dear KWHEELZSB,
I am planning on buying a bigger intake, new or used, for an increase in air flow. I want to port it out for a less restricted air flow. I am looking for a bigger intake that will match my bolt pattern and install without hassles or modifications. I am not too worried about being without a car.

As for porting, you must 'port match' all ports, i.e lower and* upper intake manifold. This should help greatly. Get the ME version of the manifold, and I'm sure you'll be quite happy.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: No, kinda ... you can get the Middle East Variable Intake and that will bolt on with very little trouble.
