Crank no start

99 Max took radio out to replace it and now the car turns over and wont start. Security light stays on when ignition is on. ECM has been checked and is working with no issues. Husband plugged up OBD2 scanner and it powers but does not communicate. Also, after putting the checked ECM back in the car, now the windows wont roll down and doors wont lock with remote. Fuses have been checked on all fronts and replaced. THIS IS HELLA FRUSTRATING!!!!

Looks like NATS got you. Have a second ignition key you can try? Otherwise, it's time to call a locksmith or have it towed to the Stealership for reprogramming.

Ya know Wiz... It should be mandatory that forum members need to put their location before they can post. Dealers are getting uncooperative about having to pull out the old equipment to do the reprogramming and it's hit or miss with mobile locksmiths. Knowing where a member is located is one step closer to those successful in the past that live nearby might choose to recommend an easy fix.

After getting schtupped by the local dealer, I found Frank just several miles from me and still had everything to program keys, cut keys (even from dealer codes) and reprogram the ECU. The Locksmith Express. Half the price what the dealer cost me after paying $180 to have it towed a few miles. Imagine having to junk your 99 because you couldn't find someone local enough to save you? Help the forum members help themselves with entering a location. People want help, then sabotage themselves via being difficult and defiant. I'm getting to the point .............
Just sayin.

quick question :

Where are you and where is the locksmith express located? What exactly did you ask for? You are right, my husband called several dealers and it is sitting at a dealership right now that cannot help me. I am unable to even find anyone with the consult 1 scanning tool. We are desperate, it is a great running car
