Steering wheel still shaking after cv axle replacement

Hey all.
today I took on the task of replacing my cv axles. Got them in I just a few hours, passenger side took the most time. My boots were torn to shreds on both sides, and steering wheel was wobbling/shaking and increased with speed. After replacing both, I topped off the transmission fluid and took it for a test drive. To my surprise, the steering wheel was doing the exact same thing as as before. Shaking and wobbling. But the car itself felt like it was riding like butter. Tires were recently balanced, and alignment still to be done, but I’m thinking this type of shaking in the steering wheel can’t be just from a misalignment as it has done this before axles were replaced and after.
has anyone else had the same issue here? I’m going crazy trying to figure out what it could be. All other parts of the suspension were intact. No leaks, no funny noises. Thanks for reading.

Have you checked the tires to see if there's any belt separation/split belts? That can cause vibration among many other things. Struts aren't leaking oil bad or shot are they?

tires are less than a year old-struts were not leaking either. Not bouncy or anything and in good shape.

around 200$ and another 100$ for some tools. Shop quoted me 5 hours of labor, so I saved a few hundred doing it my self and was my first time working on suspension. Not a bad job besides the passenger side part. Great videos out there to diy
