Exhaust Tip

Where can I get an exhuast tip for my Maxima so it looks like a performance exhaust? Your going to be like why don't you just get an exhaust .. well because I don't want to void my warranty.

Thanks

Why the hell would they void my warranty? Can't I just take the tip off?

my pops bought the car new from the dealer(7 years ago)........and it came with sum chrome tip, stock. ( you can easily see that it is just a cover for the stock tip) - i think this is a part of the convenience package - but i am not too sure

Just go to your local performance shop and I'm sure you can find a nice tip, if they try to rip you off then you can buy one online.

it's illegal for a manufacturer to void a warranty just because of an aftermarket product...it has to prove that it will cause some detrimental damage to the car before voiding that part of the warranty...check www.sema.org for further details

Exactly. It just sits there making the muffler look different but nothing that would cause harm to anything at all.

Take previous posters advice...

or this...I have a stock exhaust finisher in good condition available for a reasonable offer...or

a equally nice but not slip on 3 inch straight cut rolled edge tip available, again make offer...

or go to Pep Boys and get the Monza angled tip (non-bolt-on) that is about 4 inches outer diameter but fits our inner pipe nearly identical...you can get it welded on for about 20 bucks...if you cannot find the one I am talking about I can post pictures of mine ALL THREE around Tuesday next week and you can compare. If you cannot find the one I described at Pep Boys...let me know by e-mail and I work there PT and can get you one at discount and pass some of the savings on to you...
let me know, okay?
