I purchased and installed similar ones from a Nissan Rogue part 65158-JM00A. It is almost identical except for the base. I was able to carefully trim it with a knife for a snug fit into the area it slides into. Not ideal but I think the only place that had the correct one was in the Middle East or something and the price was nuts I agree.

Brilliant! How did you get close enough to enough models of these to find out which one could be modded just a little to work? Does the hood sit right at the point of contact (Not too high or low)?

I'm probably going to have to do the same unless some sort of Miracle happens. Wish me LUCK! LOL

AND........ THANK YOU! I really appreciate the sharing of this problem solver!

I just rolled the dice as the photo was similar and got lucky. I still have my old one but the bottom was cracked so I was able to match them up and see where to trim. Hood sits perfect. Like I said in matching them up they are identical except for the base.

You have to trim a notch in the base for it to fit, you will see, just don't get too aggressive on the first trim as there is no going back if you take too much off.

No prob and good luck.

If they are out of stock from the dealer, I probably ordered mine through megazip from Japan. Unfortunately, shipping cost makes them not really worth doing so unless you wanted a direct factory replacement. I do get a lot of my discontinued parts through them though.
