GOING TO INSTALL MY SMX GRILLE

I DONT THINK I CAN DO IT MYSELF BUT IM GETTIN it painted at the shop should i test fit it before i get it painted/????
or paint then just slip it on

do i have to sand n e thing ???

I would definetly test fit it first. After you you have it painted, you should installit youself, it is real easy. There are four points holding your stock grill on, the bottom to are circular. all you have to do with those is pry em off. The top two, are plastic as well. you just stick a flat head in the openinng onto the plastic square fastener and twist while ppulling on the grill at the same time( use a flashlight) real real easy. good luck

i understand that

but to install the smx after ... . i will have to drill 4 holes.. on the grille
thats where im scared..

when i first got my SMX grille it did not fit correctly, but after playing with it i found that it has to flex a bit and curve to fit correctly. Make sure BEFORE you paint it to drill the 4 holes. Thas what i did anyway. It will fit though with some very minor flexing. I have pics if you like. Let me know
