Anybody with cai, IMMEDIATE HELP!

Hey you all. I just got my Place Racing Cold air intake put on today. I drove home and loved it, it was just awesome. Well, I let it sit for about 20 minutes and went out again. Right after I started it, i drove like 10 feet and let off the gas, and my car shut off. The RPMs went way down, and just quit. I just shift into neutral, and continue doin it.

Has any of you guys had a problem with this. Could it be something with the o2 sensor, sw autoworks told me that I probably will need to put some silicon on it to make it stick. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help

I dont know much about the CAI but on the Popchargers you have to make sure the mass air flow sensor is in all the way.

it looks to me like either one of your hoses came undone (happened to me), or there is a leak somewhere in your CAI...make sure everything is sealed up real good...

check the connector to the Mass Air Flow make sure it is all the way in (Try removing it and reconnecting it). also check all the hose connections and the air temp sensor... Also did you use the o-ring that was on the MAF because air leaks can upset the MAF.

And as usual this is IMHO

hoses connected

I checked both of my hoses and they are both on securely. Also, the little hose, about a quarter inch is connected securely too. Do you think it could be the o2 sensor or not?

does your CAI have a hole in the bottom? also, did you make sure that all sensors were connected? it's a Mass Air Flow Sensor problem...but i can't quite diagnose it...there's gotta be a leak somewhere after the MAF or somewhere in the intake...also, make sure the Air filter is attached correctly...
