how much longer will my stock struts last?????
i just got on the maxspeed springs group deal and was wondering how long will my stock struts last after i put the springs on. i have a 97 with 69000 miles on it... and when i need new ones what is a cheap price for some and a good Quality brand.

115K and im still on stock
bout to lower with some eibachs this weekend, ill let you know how much longer they last. heh heh.. i found some KYB GR2s and they were 58 dollars each, do a search for GR2s someone said they were using them.

The SE stock shocks seem to take quite a bit of abuse. The GXE ones are softer and probably won't last too long... you may want to get onto one of the GD on the AGX... since you have to have to take them out anyways with the springs.

It depends if you plan to replace the suspension yourself (i.e. free labor) or take it to a shop. The labor involved is the same whether you change the springs, shocks, or both. So, if you are taking it to the shop, just get new springs and shocks, it will save you labor costs. I would recommend KYB AGX...I've had them two months now and they are excellent. Better than my old Tokicos.
If you plan to do the labor yourself, then if you don't mind the work, you can replace your shocks anytime you want.
