tint on your tailights?
I was on the interstate the other day. I came up on a 1997 or 1998 VW Jetta GT. I noticed the tailights it had...similar configuration as the 95-96 Maxima's. It had two red lenses on the bottom and a yellow on the top outer and white backup lense on the top inner lense. However, the top two lenses (yellow and white) were sort of smoked up. They were almost black. The red lenses were just red. My question is...has anyone tried maybe putting some kind of gray-ish black tint on their yellow turn signal lense and white backup light? Thought it'd be a cool idea to try. Come spring I may try it unless someone already has and doesn't like it. Let me know. Thanks.

A member of the board has his entire tailights smoked out. Can't recall who it is but they make a spray tint you can use. http://secure15.dellhost.com/~d30022...ray_paints.htm
