when i hit sharp bumps i heard a kinda loud bang click in my center dash above the heater vents anyone have this?

Most of us have this. It's one of the many "features" of the Maxima interior. You can try wedging foam in between the componenta that make up the center stack.

 

If it has been taken out before (i.e stereo intsallation) chances are it was not put back 100% intact. Try to take it apart again and tighten all the screws and makes sure places that snap in do snap in all the way

 

I had a rattle in my dash. Turned ut to be the heat shield on the cat under the car.

I have one squeak in dash, from left most side close to A pillar. I'm sure it's not from A pillar and the dsah contact because I already put tape between them. When it squeaks I tried pressing the dash surface down, no help; push up from lower part (plastic fuse door area) it sometimes helped... It's not a loud squeak but uncomfortable to hear.

 

[I have the same rattle noise behind the air vents. Can't figure it out. I will take the whole thing apart and retighten screws. It just started happening 2 weeks ago. I think it helps when I push on the vents

 

Same here...
I've had this noise from the dash for a while now... is there a simple solution to this problem?
