Plasma Industries 9004 bulbs suck!!!!!!

Well, tonight I had the joy of having both of my headlights blow out. These supposed twice the lifetime of halogen bulbs, blew after 6 months of use, which is really bad. I got the bulbs off of Ebay from plasmalights.com, thinking that they would be decent bulbs, I was dead wrong.
The ten year warranty isn't worth using because I would pay just as much for shipping these things to and from the manufacturer as I paid for them in the first place.
Tommorrow I guess I will head to the local "performance" shop here in Grand Junction and pick up a different brand for some outrageous price. I can't wait.

Beware of Plasma Industries bulbs...

Both of them blew at the same time?

If so, might not have been a bulb problem, just my guess.

Not at the same time but within about 2 hours of eachother. I am running the upgraded harness from suvlights.com, could I have wired it wrong? its been on there for about 2 months.

Oh and there is no need to roll your eyes at me, I am just telling my experience.

Same thing happened to me with the upgrade harness, but I had Hiper 9004s from ebay. Maybe it was the harness.

To me, rolleyes looks more like a person thinking ... so I used it, no other reason.

But wow, the odds of both bulbs going out at the same time (within hours of each other). I don't know!

I had some superwhites on my dad's 2000 MPV, they blew out at the same time, no lie. Luckily, the fog lights still worked. I used to have Hiper 9004 bulbs in my I30t, until the @#$$##$ing thing BLEW UP in my housing. I wanted to get HIDs, but afriad of the beam pattern being destroyed cuz of the 9004 kit. All I can do now is get the JDM Cefiro one piece headlamps which uses H4 bulbs and get HIDs for it. So, the moral of this post is...stay away from cheap superwhites...
