Don's is just a VB recalibration, the Level 10 is an actual tranny rebuild...

I have a question.. Since I am going to do the entire tranny does the torque converter come with the system.... Since buying a tranny from Nissan will get you a new one.. Or am I expecting too much..

Pulling your pan and replacing the old VB with a recalibrated one is far from ripping the tranny apart and replacing things...

Which Level Ten tranny did you get? The full rebuilt one costing $3000+?

No lag? Tell me more, very interested!

I think he just did the VB upgrade. If you want to know how its different, visit their site and read up on them. Or, since it seems like the populare "Moderator" thing to say, "Do a search"

Sorry I haven't read the posts in awhile ...but yes I did the WHOLE TRANNY.... and their torque converter also.... the shifts are harder but you don't really feel it in uncomfortable way... More power goes to the wheels... also when you do the tranny you'll be doing 70-80 in second gear and it won't be reving high ether... I wish I can explain it more techincally.. It just a feeling BUT it is a definite improvement over stock...plus I add after that the whole still cat back the Y-pipe random techs cat... a b-pipe and still muffler... and of course the high-flow intake... it FEELS so good... I have to do a little maintaince though like change the oil etc... with level 10 's tranny it can handle up to 600 HP so after the suspension I am getting a supercharger and nitrous and really put it to the test...muumumuwwhahaha.....

Nice! Too bad it's so expensive. I would consider this if it's cheaper. So I think getting a 5spd conversion is better since it's cheaper to do.
