Anyone how to install a FSTB on a 98 Max? I got a generic one from some dude on eBay for about $60, but it didn't come with directions. I remember way back someone said to use a torque wrench? Is that right? Thanks for the help guys!

Anyways.. you take off the 6 bolts on the front struts, place the fstb on, and rotate the bar until everything is nice and comfy. place the nuts/bolts things back on top of the rings.. torque the suckers to about 35 lbs/ft. (use a torque wrench)

you can buy one or borrow one.. good luck

 

And don't... Over torque it... I've heard stories of people busting off the bolts...

cools, thanks guys. and yes, it was like $61 new, shipped, thought it's not as nice as Stillen one, it's pretty basic. just search maxima fstb on ebay and you can find him. He sells them for other cars too.
