1157 parking lights

the parking light on the left side of the car (when looking at it from the front) is starting to turn yellow. i was just wondering what kind of bulb should i buy to replace it?? - i did a search and all i found was that i need 1157 bulbs, but i am worried about melting the wire harness and stuff like that. can someone reccomend a bulb that will work well with the stock setup? I just need it to be white, i dont need anything fancy (or in other words expensive) - thanks in advance

Any 1157 bulbs from your local auto store will do. They will not melt the harness even if you have the re-wire running at 27w.
If you're looking for hyperwhites that will last, go with PIAA Xtreme whites. I've had them for like 7 months and no problems.
Otherwise regular no name brands will do for clear bulbs.

If you look at the bulb you will see two nipples on the sides of the bulb. You cut/shave off the one that is closer to the glass part of the bulbs then put it in the reverse way. You will have to force it a little bit to make it fit. You will understand what I mean by reverse way when you actually do it.
