SO after reading this thread a couple of questions come to my mind; for those of you that are really worried about 1/4 miles times, do you not install RSB's, or FSTB's, or other handling stuff for weight reduction? I think those items could slow a car down, wouldn't they? Also, wouldn't the air temp at the track affect times too? It just seems like there are so many variables to consder.
I've just made my first run at the track ever. I have a 95 SE w/ only a Stillen intake and ran a 15 flat. I am a 5 speed though. Seeing you guys running 13's and 14's whets my appetite for more mods and speed.

The Stillen RSB weighs like 12 lbs, which is pretty much nothing. Maybe the day I run 14.000 all motor I will start taking things off my car to run a 13.999, but until then, its not worth the effort to save 12lbs. To put this in perspective, I am one of the guys looking for all motor 13s, which hasn't been done before, and yet I'm fully planning on getting subframe connectors which will add 20-30 lbs. They have benefits that far outweigh the 20 lb weight increase.

i'd probably suggest sticking to stock rims in the first place if you go by your name "99maxondubsse." you might want to follow items in the manual. also switching to synthetic 5w-30 oil might add a couple if not make your engine more responsive. changing fuel filter, making sure your fuel injection is operating with peak efficiency, O2 sensors and spark plugs working properly and throttle body cleaned and adjusted if you have more miles than usual. make sure your tires are inflated properly and the brakes are not binding. simple things to check first.
