Need Help with engine.... PLEASE

Will a 97 or 99 engine go into a 96 maxima with out a problem.

My understanding is it's the same engine "gotme"

Call up ONE delaership, ask for an engine in a 96 with a part #.
Call up another dealership, ask for the P/N for a 99 engine.

If they're the same, yippeeee
