My experience is that at car shows people are fairly respective of other's property. Everyone there is an enthusiast.

But just in case, keep you car in sight at all times.

Dude, if you don't want anyone messing with your car, then...

DON'T SHOW IT OFF!!!!

People steal sh|t because it's there, so the less THEY know, the better off YOU will be.

I'm an IT Professional.

No IT Professional would be caught using anything AOL makes.

I do, however, use MSN Messenger.

If you're just driving a mildly modified car, don't even worry about it. Nobody is going to mess with it. It's only if you have an all out show car that the velvet ropes/constant attention are necessary.

At most shows, people are pretty respectful. It's just a lot of idiots like to where jeans with rivets and keep bumping into my car. So far, no scratches. And I find it hard to keep little kids out of my car, they keep jumping into the race seats.

But it's mostly annoyances, nothing bad has ever happened to my car. Other than a bunch of guys getting their butt ugly girlfriends to lean up on my car in booty poses and take pictures. That leads to 2 problems. Fingerprints all over my car, and hundreds of pictures of my car with fat ugly girls. The fingerprints I can deal with, but I don't know if my car likes those pictures very much. Plus I just know those guys go around claiming they drive my car.
