Hey what's up...I'm new here, but I'm a regular at the FreshAlloy.com forum. Anyway, just wanted some feedback on putting a 5th gen VQ into my 95SE. I heard it's a super-direct swap, and that I could even just change the muffler and the intake manifold to get the 32HP. Sounds too good to be true though, so I dunno. However, 40+HP(the aforementioned mods + an intake and possibly an ECU change) for less than $1.5K doesn't sound too bad...

But I dunno. Let me know the truth about it.

ok, i don't know anything about this engine swap or whatever, but doesn't anyone on this board say anything other than "search" anymore? ...granted a lot could be searched for and found, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to repeat...but ok, enough of my griping

nah, but i got links to some sites. those sites didn't say anything about the swaps though.

the reason they say use the search is because it saves time and bandwidth.

And, to help you furhther look for the guy by the screen name of RoadBeast. Also, look at posts by MardigrasMax. He succesfully installed the "middle east intake manifold" on his motor. It really works.
