I think she has been getting shafted by mechanics. Her car is down and they told her first she needed a radiator and a water pump. Then they added that she needed a timing chain. Now they are saying the motor is bad. I think the possibility of all this going wrong at the same time is slim. What do you guys think? I kmow I give my Max hell everyday and only thing I've had to replace were CV axles and a starter.

I haven't had a chance to talk to her yet. So I don't know the specifics

I do believe they are milking her for all her money. Sorry, take it to a legit shop.

One of the reasons I bought my Max is b/c of the timing chain. It's pretty expensive changing out timing belts on some cars!
