airbag, airbag, airbag--won't go away after repeat resets!!

I recently had some problems with the airbag light and after my battery died a few days ago, I had a new battery put in, and reset the airbag light. As Jay_X pointed out to me, the airbag light could be from a low battery charge. However, after resetting the airbag light, and driving for some time the light did not show up. But today the light came back on again. This has happened 3-4 times already. I am able to reset the light which is the weird part but after sometime the light comes back.
Would anyone have any suggestions on what I can look into? perhaps a fuse or anyway to disable the light permenantly? I know the dealer is going to overcharge for this

thanks

get a free estimate from your dealer. some things you just can't skimp on, this is one of them. believe me, I've been in two accidents in different maximas with airbags and they can be the difference between life and death. do yourself a favor and have it checked out. it's prob. something stupid like a sensor. i'm not sure if there is a diagnostic code for the air bag system, but take a look around here (read: search) and i'm sure you will find it. good luck!

looks like I have to

Thanks man,
It looks like I have to because I tried resetting light again with the usual technique with the door jab --but the light keeps coming on after ignition and starts flashing--guess it won't go away.
darn, and the airbag was covered under the 5 year 60K...just passed it for me.
And I checked the fuse to make sure it wasn't that...oh well, new battery, checked the fuse and it is still a problem...oh well, leave it for the dealer.
